1. Introduction
Singsa Technologies Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Karaokely mobile application ("App").
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information
when you use our App.
By using Karaokely, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address and password (if you register with email)
- Name (provided during registration or from your social login profile)
- User ID (automatically generated)
- Authentication tokens from third-party sign-in providers (Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In)
We do not store your Apple or Google account passwords. Authentication through these providers is
handled securely by Apple and Google respectively.
2.2 Audio Data
- Song files you upload (MP3, WAV, and other formats) for vocal separation and accompaniment generation
- Voice recordings captured during karaoke sessions for singing analysis and scoring
- Real-time voice data transmitted during Party Room sessions for live group singing
2.3 Profile Information
- Profile photo (optional, selected from your device's photo library)
- Display name shown to other users in social features
2.4 Usage Data
- Performance scores and statistics (pitch accuracy, rhythm scores)
- Song library and playlist information
- Subscription status and purchase history (processed by Apple)
- App preferences and settings stored locally on your device
2.5 Device Information
- Device type and operating system version for compatibility and troubleshooting
- App version for support purposes
2.6 Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not use advertising trackers or analytics SDKs
- We do not collect location data
- We do not collect contacts or call logs
- We do not track your activity across other apps or websites
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information solely for the following purposes:

4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Local Storage
- Song files, recordings, and lyrics are stored locally on your device
- Authentication tokens are stored securely in the iOS Keychain
- App preferences are stored in local device storage (UserDefaults)
4.2 Cloud Storage
- Uploaded songs are processed on our encrypted cloud servers
- Servers may be located in Canada, the United States, or the European Union
- All data transmitted between your device and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption
- WebSocket connections for Party Rooms use WSS (secure WebSocket) encryption
4.3 Data Retention
- Voice recordings for scoring: Processed audio is retained on our servers for a limited time (typically 30 minutes) to allow download of mixed recordings, then automatically deleted
- Uploaded song files: Processed files (vocals, instrumental tracks) are stored on our servers and may be subject to periodic cleanup based on storage quotas. You can re-upload local files to restore scoring data at any time
- Account data: Retained as long as your account is active
- Party Room voice data: Streamed in real-time and not recorded or stored on our servers
5. Data Sharing
5.1 We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
5.2 Limited Sharing
We may share information only in these circumstances:
- With other users: Your display name and profile photo are visible to friends and Party Room participants
- With service providers: Cloud infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf, bound by confidentiality agreements
- Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (you will be notified)
6. Third-Party Services
6.1 Apple Sign-In
When you sign in with Apple, Apple provides us with your name and email address (or a private relay
email if you choose to hide your email). Apple's privacy policy governs their handling of your data:

6.2 Google Sign-In
When you sign in with Google, Google provides us with your name, email address, and profile photo.

6.3 Apple In-App Purchases
Subscription payments are processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment
information (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.). Apple's terms apply:

7. Your Rights
7.1 All Users
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data stored in our systems
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete your account and associated data (see Section 8)
- Export your recordings and song data from the App
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time by deleting your account
7.2 European Union Users (GDPR)
In addition to the above, EU users have the right to:
- Data portability
- Restriction of processing
- Object to processing
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
- Cross-border data transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)
7.3 California Users (CCPA)
California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information is collected
- Request deletion of personal information
- Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell data)
- Non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights
7.4 Canadian Users (PIPEDA)
Canadian users have the right to access, correct, and challenge compliance regarding their personal
information under PIPEDA.
8. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings. Upon account deletion:
- Your profile information, name, and email will be permanently removed
- Your performance history and scores will be deleted from our servers
- Locally stored song files and recordings on your device will not be automatically deleted (you may remove them manually)
- Deletion is permanent and irreversible
To request account deletion, go to Settings > Account > Delete Account in the App, or contact us at

9. Children's Privacy
Karaokely is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child has provided
personal information, we will promptly delete it. If you believe a child is using our service,
please contact us immediately.
10. Microphone and Photo Library Access
- Microphone: Required for recording your karaoke performances and real-time voice communication in Party Rooms. The App will request your permission before accessing the microphone. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings.
- Photo Library: Used only for selecting a profile photo. The App will request your permission before accessing your photos. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings.
11. Background Audio
Karaokely may continue playing music when the App is in the background or when your device is
locked. This uses the iOS background audio capability and does not collect any additional data.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes:
- We will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page
- For significant changes, we will notify you through the App
- Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy
